Puppies on the way!

Kelsa just had an ultrasound and we have good news!  She is pregnant and is due for the 28th of October.  We are all looking forward to the arrival of these little bundles of fun and even more to seeing the happiness they will bring to their new families when they leave in time for Christmas.

The team is growing!

Gabriel arrived in June, but we have been so busy that we haven't got around to posting his birth announcement until now.  Here are some precious pictures taken a few weeks after his birth.  Kirsa absolutely loves babies!  She will not leave their side and enjoys giving them kisses, much to the dislike of the baby!

German Shepherds in Combat

German Shepherds were used in World War 1 to find injured soldiers and to carry messages. They had quite a job to do! Dodging bullets and sniffing out landmines, they were the real heroes of the battlefield. Bullets flying, shells exploding everywhere, tanks rumbling along, it was a terrifying place to be, to say the least! Skijoring

A couple of weeks ago, after a heavy snowfall, Jonathan and Royal Aslan went out skiing together.  Skijoring is a sport that Aslan loves.  He is strong, full of energy and loves to run. David did an excellent job of capturing the typical alert and inquisitive expression in Aslan's eyes.  Isn't he such a handsome dog?  We think so! Now the snow is beginning to melt, so winter sports will give way to bicycling,  jogging…

Snow castles

Now 8 months later, Kirsa has relaxed a lot and she and Josiah have become best buddies.  Josiah gets very excited whenever he sees her coming and she will lie down right beside him when he is playing on the…
