It has been a cold  -15 C degrees here this past week, but that didn’t prevent Annora and the children spending some time playing out in the snow.

We sometimes get asked if German Shepherd Dogs need winter jackets when they go out in the winter.  No, not at all!  German Shepherd Dogs LOVE winter! During the winter they grow of very thick, dense coat of fur. Only on the coldest of days will their paws feel cold.  If it’s necessary for them to outdoors on the -25 C and below days or if they will be somewhere with lots of ice or rocks, then it may be a good idea to get winter boots for your dog to protect your dog’s feet.
